In 2019, Drew and Courtney Watson acquired her grandfather's crop insurance agency. Barry Woodruff's crop insurance agency was started in efforts to provide additional services to farmers purchasing Pioneer Seed from Courtney's father, Denny Wallace, at Wallace Seed and Services LLC. After the transition took place from Barry to the Watsons, it was renamed Oakwood Risk Management LLC.
Courtney is a 2012 graduate from Northern Kentucky University with a bachelor's degree in Communication and a minor in Organizational Leadership. After years of working at her parent's business, Wallace Seed and Services LLC, she knew her career path belonged in agriculture. Aside from selling crop insurance, Courtney is still involved in the daily operation of Wallace Seed and Services LLC.
